Bio

Jhon James Granada Torres earned his electronic engineering degree and a master’s in telecommunications engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2010 and 2012, respectively. In 2012, he worked as a technical supervisor for optical fiber network deployment in a Colombian government project. In 2017, he received with honors the degree of PhD in electronic engineering at the Universidad de Antioquia. During his doctoral studies, He was visiting research scholar at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Currently, he is assistant professor (temporary) at the Universidad de Antioquia. His research interests include optical and digital communication, digital signal processing and machine learning.
